Strengthening Micro Enterprise
Strengthening Micro Enterprise Loan program. This loan can provide entrepreneurs with the capital they need to expand their businesses. SME Product is specifically designed to support micro-entrepreneurs. Micro-enterprises typically include unregistered small businesses in sectors such as manufacturing, handicrafts, trade, and furniture workshops. Additionally, small businesses involved in shoe manufacturing, garments, iron and steel products, agricultural products, and dairy/food products, which employ at least three people and have the potential to create new employment opportunities through business growth, can also benefit from this loan product.
Eligibility and require documents
- Applicants must be between 18 and 58 years of age.
- The loan is exclusively for entrepreneurial purposes.
- Minimum experience of existing business is 3 years.
- Mandatory business evaluation will be conducted to assess the client’s repayment capacity before loan approval.
- Entrepreneurs must have a minimum three and a maximum five employees.
- Child labor is strictly prohibited.
- Applicants must provide a valid Computerized National Identity Card.
- A copy of a utility bill (not older than three months) for either home or business is required.
- Two social collateral references are necessary, one from within the family and other from outside the family.
- Internal granter will provide both cheque and stamp paper
- External granter will provide either cheque or stamp paper
- Two recent passport-sized photographs must be submitted.
- A photocopy of the identity card of one social collateral guarantor is required.Personal account checks for both the applicant and one social guarantor are needed.
