RCDP has been at the forefront of integrated development approaches, focusing on a diverse range of thematic areas including microfinance and enterprise development, institutional strengthening, health and education, capacity building, community infrastructure, livelihood enhancement, advocacy, networking, farmer enterprise development, and access to justice. With extensive experience in implementing microenterprise programs, RCDP has garnered support from both national and international organizations.

In addition to its robust experience, RCDP boasts a strong network of community organizations at the grassroots level, which significantly enhances its outreach capabilities. To maximize its impact on impoverished communities in Punjab, RCDP entered into a partnership with the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) under the Prime Minister’s Interest-Free Loan (PMIFL) Programme, a key component of the Youth Development Initiative. This collaboration initially targeted the district of Layyah, where RCDP established five loan centers as part of a pilot phase.
